Our standard operating procedure is to dismantle the car, taking care to save everything that comes off for future use, replacing or patching all rusted areas with new sheet metal, then applying a coat of epoxy primer, sealing the primer, then reassembling the body.

While disassembled, we make sure all of the surfaces are straight. Any dented or dinged areas are worked until those are straight. During reassembly, all clearances are checked for consistency so there are no uneven gaps between the doors, hood, trunk, and fenders and the body. Once we are satisfied with the gaps, and the body work is complete, we apply color and clear coat then prep for the final wet-sanding.

Any of the parts that are found to be unrestorable are replaced with either OEM, or repro parts, including wiring harnesses, trim, glass, fasteners, and the like. When we get done with a restoration, the car is in show condition, and meets the client's specifications.
